They say to discover your dream job you should find where your skills meet your passion, and that’s exactly what led Belinda Clinton to become a celebrant. 

 

A born communicator, Belinda moved from Perth to Melbourne in her early 20’s for a career in marketing and was mentored by one of the best public speakers in the country.

 

Upon her return to WA, Belinda found love with her childhood sweetheart and they married in 2011. During the planning of their own destination wedding in Uluwatu, Belinda discovered her love for all things weddings. After seeing her attention to detail and knack for events first hand, Global Weddings offered Belinda the role of destination wedding planner two months after they said "I do".

 

During her time at Global Weddings Belinda thrived and worked tirelessly to ensure the bride and groom had everything they dreamed of. From grand scale celebrity weddings to intimate nuptials, no detail was ever too small nor too much effort. So gratifying was the role she even relocated with her family overseas in order to give clients uncompromising support and guidance on their day. 

 

After the birth of her second child Belinda re-evaluated her career path. With a tool kit of public speaking and the in-depth knowledge of weddings, the decision to become a Celebrant was a natural one. And so, Belinda studied her Certificate IV Celebrancy through the Australian Celebrants Training College, and is appointed by the Attorney General’s Office of Australia. 

 

She now dedicates her time to working with couples to bring their dreams to reality and writing about herself in the third person.
